We will be open for the 2010 season on 27th March, see you all soon.
We are situated deep in the heart of the Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons National Park.
The Llanthony Valley is famous for its rugged beauty, boasting steep mountainous terrain and open moorland, with miles and miles of bridleways and open countryside to ride.
History abounds in our valley, we are only 2 miles from the famous Llanthony Priory - a picturesque, partly ruined Augustinian priory, built around the year 1100 and where in 1118, a group of around 40 monks from England founded this Augustinian priory, the first in Wales. On one side of the valley we have Hatterrall Hill part of the Black Mountains eastern ridge straddling the Welsh-English border and forming part of the Offas Dyke Long Distance Footpath. The whole area has been the focus of many television documentaries over the years and was recently featured on the BBC series Border Country to name but one.
We are a friendly family run trekking centre welcoming riders of all standards, from the beginner or nervous rider to the more advanced rider.
We can offer all lengths of ride from a half days trek to several days riding for the more adventurous. Come and join us in the breathtaking Llanthony Valley for an unforgettable and enjoyable days trekking
